COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Downtown Columbus restaurant announced that they will be closing their doors this week after 15 years in business.

Little Palace Restaurant, located at 240 South 4th St., will officially close Wednesday night.

They will be open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In a Facebook post, the restaurant said that despite months of negotiations, they were unable to reach a fair agreement with the current landlord to continue operating the space.

"Our motto has always been, 'You are a stranger here but once,' and it’s a truth we hold dear. The friendships, laughter, and sense of community you’ve brought through our doors will remain with us forever," the restaurant said in the Facebook post.

They add that while this chapter is coming to a close, they are holding onto hope for what the future could bring.

"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives. Thank you for your support, your love, and for making Little Palace a place where no one was a stranger," they concluded.
