COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Kenton man was arrested and charged Friday after authorities say he allegedly met with a 15-year-old girl for sex in Crawford County.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Jonah Sharp was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor after detectives investigated a complaint about him.
The complaint alleged that Sharp had been in Crawford County in August 2024 to meet with a teen girl and have sex with her. The two had reportedly met online.
Sharp admitted to the allegations after he was taken into custody on Friday, the sheriff’s office said. He was also reportedly found to be in possession of child sexual abuse images on his cellphone.
