COLUMBUS, Ohio — A juvenile is injured following a shooting at an apartment complex on the city's southwest side Friday night, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to Wedgewood Village Apartments in the 700 block of Wedgewood Drive just before 10 p.m. on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a juvenile victim in an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in what police describe as "stable" condition and is expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting. There is no suspect information at this time.
