A kind-hearted man decided to make a major donation to an Upper Arlington bakery to help out the business during the coronavirus pandemic.
The regular customer ordered a donut for takeout on Monday like usual, Emilie Smith, the manager at the Tremont Goodie Shop told 10TV.
Then, he offered to pay $1,000 for the treat.
"At first i couldn't even speak. i started crying, and he asked if it was ok. Of course it's ok! It's just such a blessing," she said.
Smith said on top of the donation, Monday was the day payroll was due, so the money allowed her to pay employees with a little less stress.
