One person was killed and several others injured after a crash Tuesday afternoon in southeast Franklin County.
The crash happened on the ramp from US 33 westbound to Refugee Road just before 1 p.m.
According to Columbus Police, a Chevrolet Tahoe was driving the wrong direction on the ramp from eastbound Refugee Road to westbound U.S. 33 when it struck a Nissan Sentra head-on.
The Tahoe's driver was taken to Grant Medical Center where police processed him as a suspected impaired driver. No charges have been filed as police await test results.
The driver of the Sentra, 63-year-old Betty Griggs of New Lexington, was transported to Grant Medical Center where she later died.
Three other people from the Nissan were also critically injured, including an 8 and 2-year-old.
The ramp was closed for a couple hours but has reopened.
