COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five people, including two Reynoldsburg police officers, were injured following a crash on Interstate 70 West near James Road.
The Reynoldsburg Division of Police said the crash happened just after 12:35 p.m. Two police cruisers were heading west on I-70 when they were struck from behind by another vehicle.
Two officers and three people from the other vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
A police cruiser seen on top of a towing truck bed sustained damage to the driver's side door.
Another cruiser sustained minor damage. The airbag was deployed inside the vehicle.
Columbus police are investigating the crash.
