HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio — A 53-year-old Hocking County woman died in a crash on Thursday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Connie Monroe was traveling south on Clay Lick Road near Rauber Road around 2:30 p.m.
Monroe lost control of her vehicle near a curve, drove left of center and crashed into another vehicle head-on. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was flown to Grant Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
