The Louisiana city of Baton Rouge is on high alert, after three law enforcement officers were killed and three others wounded in a shooting not far from police headquarters on Sunday.
One suspect was killed and officials say two others might be at large.
Sunday's shooting comes less than two weeks after a black man was shot and killed by Baton Rouge police, sparking nightly protests across the city.
Ohio Governor John Kasich said in a video statement posted online, "These kinds of vicious attacks on police officers will only serve to drive a wedge and destroy the very fabric of our society."
