The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says it will be taking a break from appearing on the A&E show, “Live PD.”

The sheriff’s office made the announcement on social media. They thanked the public for their support and saying “participation on the show had been tremendous.”

“However, at this time, we will be taking a little break from show. Being showcased alongside so many great law enforcement agencies on LivePD has been amazing!”

A spokesperson with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office tells 10TV this decision came from "Live PD." The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Warwick Police are also transitioning off of the show.

Franklin County joined the show back in November 2018.
