Franklin County Clerk of Courts Legal Divisions limiting in-person hours

The hours go into effect on Monday, March 23.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Franklin County Clerk of Courts Legal Divisions is limiting its in-person hours in an effort to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

On Saturday, officials said Clerk of Court hours would be limited to the following schedule:

Legal Divisions

  • Appeals: Monday--Friday: 8 A.M.–5P.M.
  • General: Monday–Thursday: 9 A.M. –1 P.M.
  • Domestic Relations & Juvenile: Monday –Thursday: 9 A.M. –1 P.M.
  • Juvenile Traffic: Monday – Thursday 8 A.M. –10 A.M.
  • Auto Title Division: CLOSED to the public


Court operation hours are not affected by the above changes.

The hours go into effect on Monday, March 23.

The General and Domestic Relations & Juvenile Divisions have additional scheduled hours for bond postings, civil protections orders and U.S. passport services Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. However, calls must be made to the officer before entering during this time.

The Auto Title Division remains closed to the public. People in need of auto titling services should mail the correct documentation and payment to the Auto Title South branch, located at 45 Great Southern Blvd., Columbus, Ohio, 43207. The Auto Title Help Line (614-525-3090) remains open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
