COLUMBUS, Ohio (WBNS) - Dr. Kathryn Sullivan, former NASA Astronaut and the first U.S. woman to walk in space sat down with the 10 This Morning.
Sullivan shared her experience and talked about the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary celebration.
She is the guest speaker Saturday at the Ohio History Connection for a “Moon Landing Celebration.” Tickets to hear Dr. Sullivan's talk are sold out, but families can still come at 8:30 to enjoy space themed activities, watch Neil Armstrong walk on the moon and more.
Guests can visit the Ohio Historical Center during the day to watch the set up for the event, which includes footage of the Apollo 11 lunar module landing, hands-on activities, and witnessing Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon 50 years to the minute after it happened.
