COLUMBUS, Ohio — A portion of Fishinger Road in Upper Arlington will be closed for two weeks beginning April 15 due to upcoming construction.
The City of Upper Arlington announced the closure Friday, saying that crews will be conducting a jack and bore operation. The process will involve drilling horizontally underground to install new infrastructure and utilities without disrupting the surface.
The area of impact will be Fishinger Road between Riverside Drive and Kioka Road.
Drivers are asked to use Nottingham Road as a detour route. Residents on the road will still be able to get to their driveways.
Detours for drivers eastbound on Fishinger Road include:
- Turn right on Riverside Drive
- Turn left on Nottingham Drive
- Turn left on Kioka Avenue
