COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Clintonville pizzeria was forced to temporarily close Friday morning after a fire broke out.

The owners of Harvest Bar + Kitchen – Clintonville, located at 2885 North High St., shared news of the closure on their Facebook page.

Hey folks We have some not so good news to share. Harvest Clintonville will be closed for the foreseeable future due to fire damage. We will continue to update you on news to come, but for now we are unsure of when we’ll be back up and running. Thank you as always for your patience and understanding.

The fire started outside in a dumpster just after 2:30 a.m. before it reportedly spread to the building.

According to Columbus Division of Fire Chief Jeffrey Geitter, arson is not suspected, and the cause is currently under investigation.

The pizzeria experienced a fire around the same time two years ago. Chris Crader, the CEO of Harvest pizzeria, told 10TV at the time that no one was injured.

Columbus Fire determined that the 2022 fire was accidental and came from the chimney of the pizza oven.
