Motorcyclist killed in southeast Columbus crash

The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. at Refugee and Hamilton roads.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist died after a crash on the city’s southeast side early Sunday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Around 1:45 a.m., A 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa was heading west on Refugee Road toward the Hamilton Road intersection.

Police said the motorcyclist struck a raised concrete center median on Refugee Road and crashed. The y suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.

Their identity has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
