FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio — One person was killed in a head-on crash with a semitrailer near Grove City Wednesday morning, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
At 8:45 a.m., a 2024 Kenworth semitrailer was heading northbound on state Route 104 south of Hibbs Road while a 2001 Ford F-150 was heading south.
The sheriff’s office said the F-150 crossed the center into the northbound lane and struck the semi head-on.
The semi ran off the west side of the road before it stopped. The F-150 came to a rest across both lanes of SR-104.
Deputies, Grove City police officers and Jackson Township EMS responded to the scene. The driver of the F-150 was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office did not release their name.
The driver of the semi was evaluated for injuries at the scene.
