Cause of East Linden house fire under investigation; no injuries reported

Firefighters with the Columbus Division of Fire were called to a single-family home in the 2500 block of Parkwood Avenue around 2:10 p.m.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A house was heavily damaged after it caught fire in East Linden Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters with the Columbus Division of Fire were called to a single-family home in the 2500 block of Parkwood Avenue around 2:10 p.m. 

A video shared with 10TV from someone on the scene shows the home engulfed in flames and firefighters beginning to put it out.

Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter said the fire is now contained.

All of the residents made it out through the back of the house. Geitter said no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
