COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was fatally shot in east Columbus on Monday, police said.
Just after 9:10 a.m., officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to a home in the 1500 block of Basil Drive near Kirkwood Drive on a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found 56-year-old Fred Little with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at 9:20 a.m.
Detectives are still trying to determine a motive behind the shooting.
