Dump truck crashes into building in east Columbus; 4 injured

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. in the 3400 block of East Broad Street.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Four people were injured Wednesday morning after a dump truck crashed into a building in east Columbus.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. in the 3400 block of East Broad Street.

Columbus fire said the truck crashed into a chiropractic business.

An employee and patient were both taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

A third person was pinned underneath the front of the truck. Crews were able to remove them and said they were being taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Columbus fire said the driver of the dump truck was still pinned in the cab but was responsive and talking with first responders.

Authorities closed East Broad Street between Hampton Road and James Road.

No other information on the crash was immediately available.
