COLUMBUS, Ohio — Central Ohio drivers on the northeast side of the outerbelt and within the city of Dublin will see several road closures this Saturday.
Dublin's Greenest, Grandest Parade route starts at the Metro Center at 11 a.m. on March 9 and will continue through Historic Dublin. It is a rain-or-shine-event and will only be delayed or canceled if there is a storm, lightning or thunder.
More than 110 groups including marching bands, equestrian teams, floats and novelty/antique vehicles will be featured this year. While groups prepare for the parade and march through the area, road closures are expected.
- The ramps from I-270 north and southbound to SR-161/Dublin Granville Road will close from 10:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Dublin Granville Rd will be closed in both directions from South High Street to Riverside Drive will be closed from 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Dale Drive will be closed between SR-161/Dublin Granville Road and Banker Drive will be closed from approximately 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Riverside Drive southbound between SR-161/Dublin Granville Rd and John Shields Parkway will be closed from approximately 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- The parade route will start at 11 a.m. and Start northbound on Frantz Rd to SR-161/Dublin Granville Rd to South High Street.
- The parade return route will go through Waterford Drive Westbound to Monterrey Drive southbound to Frantz Road Northbound to Metro Place westbound.
According to the City of Dublin, wheelchair-accessible parking can be found at Sells Middle School and is on a first-come, first-served basis. A viewing area for guests with disabilities is in front of Mr. Tire on West Bridge Street.
