LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — Two people are injured after a driver being pursued by Newark Police crashed into another vehicle head-on, according to Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. near Linnville Road and Dodridge Road, just south of Newark.
Thorp said the suspect driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A person in the car that was hit was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Licking County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash, Thorp said.
Newark police has not released information about what led to the pursuit.
