COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was injured in a hit-and-rush crash in downtown Columbus Sunday night, according to police.
Just before 11:50 p.m., police said a pedestrian was walking across West Broad Street at Starling Street in a crosswalk. At the same time, a black SUV was heading west on West Broad Street.
Police said the SUV did not stop for the pedestrian and struck them. The vehicle continued heading west on West Broad Street.
The pedestrian was taken to Grant Medical Center and suffered a broken leg and other injuries.
