Authorities arrest suspect wanted for robbing banks in Ohio, Michigan

Authorities identified the suspect as Todd Raymond Keith, who was wanted in connection to multiple robberies in Michigan.

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the man who allegedly robbed a Lewis Center bank Friday has been taken into custody.

The robbery happened at the Delaware County Bank branch on 34 Evergreen Avenue in Lewis Center just after noon.

The Sheriff's Office released this photo they said is Keith robbing the bank while wearing a pumpkin mask.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says several shots were fired inside the bank but no one was hit.

Before the robbery in Lewis Center, the FBI had issued information that Keith was wanted in connection with multiple robberies in Michigan. The FBI said his last known whereabouts were in Ohio.

Keith is accused of robbing a Chase Bank in Ypsilanti, Mich. September 30 and a Key Bank in the same city on October 3. Shots were fired during one of those robberies.

He is also considered a person of interest in two hotel robberies of an Embassy Suites and Days Inn in Livonia, Mich. on October 6 along with an armed robbery of a Walgreens pharmacy in Brownstown Township, Mich. and a carjacking of a black Lexus in Madison Heights, Mich.

Early Friday evening, Aberdeen Police confirmed to 10TV that a vehicle matching the description of the one stolen by Keith was found abandoned in Brown County.
