OSHP: 37-year-old woman killed in Fairfield County crash

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio — A woman was killed in a crash in Fairfield County Wednesday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on state Route 674 near Mile Post 2 in Amanda Township.

OSHP said 37-year-old Tahrea Maynard, of Ashville, was driving southbound on state Route 674 in a Kia when she drove off the right side of the road.

Maynard struck a ditch and a culvert and the vehicle overturned onto its side where it came to a rest over an embankment.

Maynard was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office.

The Amanda Township Fire Department, Clearcreek Township Fire/EMS, the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office assisted with the scene.
