COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police officers and firefighters have cleared the scene where they were searching the Scioto River after a person claimed someone in the water went under Monday morning.
Police said no one was found near the scene at the Main Street bridge.
The fire department said a man walking to work on the bridge said he saw what looked like a person with blonde hair.
Dive teams searched the river but found nothing.
The bridge is now open.
