Eric D. Chavis, 24, of Columbus was sentenced in U.S. District Court to 15 years in prison for directing and distributing music videos depicting child pornography.

Chavis, who goes by the name Thot King, pleaded guilty back in June to one count of conspiracy to produce child pornography.

At the time of his plea, Chavis admitted that he recorded sexually explicit video footage of three minor females and that he later edited that footage into music videos. Chavis admitted to posting the videos, as well as still images from the videos, on numerous websites including Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and at least one pornography site.

Victim recounts crime

One of the alleged victims, who asked we not use her name, spoke to 10TV about appearing in one of the videos.

“My son was two when that happened to me. I was so afraid my son was going to see that I tried to end of my life,” the now 19-year-old victim said.

She's talking about a rap video made with a man she knew only as "Ay Streatz."

“When I walked in there were six dudes in one room there was a couch and a desk", she remembers.

She says she agreed to be in the video under one condition that she wouldn't take off her clothes. The victim said he agreed at first.

“He said ‘don't you want to go home? Don't you want to see your son?’” she recalls.

Out of fear, she said she did take off some of her clothes, and then came another threat: “You already get your pants off or do you want to get raped?”

She said they never had sex, but because she was 16, she's a minor according to federal law and the video is a crime.

She said after people saw her video online, she became bullied, she lost friends, relationships fell apart, and she couldn't face the kids at school.

“I was a straight-A student, I was going to school and I dropped out school because of it."

“I cried like two hours straight,” she said. “I felt like I got my life back.”

A life she said she tried hard to end after trusting a man who she thought would make her a star.
