Columbus police have confirmed one of their officers was injured after pursuing a stolen vehicle Monday.
According to police, the officer was pursuing the vehicle when the van turned into a driveway, reversed and hit the police van behind it.
Police are currently holding a scene at Fitzroy Drive and Walford Street in north Columbus.
Two people were in the stolen van and took off from the scene, according to police.
Police have not released what injuries the officer sustained but said they are expected to recover.
