A combination of patrol and bike officers with Columbus police were able to catch a suspect wanted for burglary and sex crime.
Officers responded to a residence on E. 14th Avenue just before 11 p.m. Thursday on the report of a burglary in process.
The caller told dispatch that an unknown male entered their home and attempted to sexually assault two people.
Officers arrived and spotted the suspect through a window masturbating.
Police entered the home and arrested the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Calvin Bishop Lynn. Lynn’s last known address is Lexington, Ky.
Lynn is charged with burglary and public indecency-engaging in a sex act. Additional charge may follow according to police.
