“It's like we've known each other all our lives."
It wasn't until Drew Norman was a teenager when his mom told him he wasn't an only child. She gave his older brother up for adoption.
We first introduced you to Norman in July, after he had just taken an at-home DNA kit.
“We did the Ancestry DNA kit. He did his a week after mine,” Norman explained.
The two quickly connected. At first, they Facetimed each other and talked on the phone.
“We just have been best friends ever since,” Norman explained.
The two met for the first time this weekend.
“He's a big strong guy. He's like giving Shaq a hug,” Norman said with a laugh.
They went to the Ohio State University football game and his brother met family members he never knew existed just months ago.
“My wife mentioned his mannerisms are exactly like mine. In that respect we are, we are definitely brothers,” Norman said.
Norman says he's so thankful they both decided to take a leap of faith to try to find each other.
“It's been life-changing, seriously. It's been a hole that's been in my life for a long time, thinking I was an only kid. Now I feel fulfilled,” Norman said.
