COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist was critically injured when it collided with an SUV in Italian Village Monday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
The crash happened just before 6:35 p.m. at East 4th Avenue and Summit Street.
Police said the driver of a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R750 was traveling south on Summit Street approaching East 4th Avenue when a dark-colored SUV traveling east pulled into their path.
The motorcycle struck the SUV and the motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle. The SUV left the scene heading east on East 4th Avenue.
Police said the motorcyclist was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
