Columbus City School students had to wait at the bus stop in frigid temps longer than usual Friday morning.
The district said a strain on the transportation team caused delays for morning bus routes.
Temperatures stood in the single digits, with the wind chills hovering around zero degrees.
CCS contacted parents, warning them of potentially “significant” delays. The district recommended parents bundle their children heading to the bus stop and stay with them, or even find another way to get them to school.
