COLUMBUS, Ohio — Event organizers for the Columbus Air Show announced the lineup Tuesday for this year’s event.
The air show will be held June 14-16 at Rickenbacker International Airport. More than 50,000 guests are expected to attend this year’s show.
Among those headlining this year’s event will be modern military fighter aircraft, massive transport aircraft and the hometown KC-135 from the Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base.
Those taking to the sky include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Jet Demonstration Team and U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team. This is the Thunderbirds’ first appearance in Columbus since 2007.
There will also be two F-15 Eagles, the U.S. Air Force F-35A and World War II-era planes flying during the show.
“Having as many static displays as we do gives people a chance to talk to the people who fly and maintain the aircraft, understand how the planes perform and their significance to the Air Force, Navy, Marine and Air National Guard bases,” said Herb Gillen, president of Herb Gillen Airshows, producers of the event.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Tickets for adults ages 16 and up are $65. The price will increase as additional tickets are sold.
Those 15 and younger will get free entry when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
General parking will be offered at the airport within walking distance of the main gate. Those interested can purchase their parking admission on the event website for $35.
