Thirteen people were arrested in connection to human trafficking/prostitution investigations this week in a two-day operation, Chillicothe Police announced Friday.
The operation was conducted Wednesday and Thursday with assistance from the Dayton Police Department Narcotics Bureau Street Crime Unit, The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
Chillicothe Police say they are aware of the dangers associated with human trafficking and the connection to the drug trade in the community. The operation removed individuals soliciting sex in Chillicothe and provided authorities intelligence information, according to Chillicothe PD.
