COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was taken into custody after reportedly crashing their car into a downtown Columbus bar Sunday evening.
First responders were called to Char Bar, located on North High Street just south of Vine Street, shortly after 7:30 p.m. on a report of a vehicle in a building.
Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter said it was believed that the vehicle left the scene after the crash.
A public safety dispatcher told 10TV the driver was later taken into custody nearby. It's unclear at this time what charges the driver may face.
Geitter said there were no injuries.
