HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Buc-ee's is about to break ground in Ohio for the very first time.
The state's first Buc-ee's is set for its official groundbreaking on Aug. 8, according to Huber Heights Mayor Jeff Gore.
The store will be located at the intersection of state Route 235 and Interstate 70 in Huber Heights, located near Dayton.
The popular establishment is a chain of convenience stores, gas stations and mega marts that are known for their large size, clean bathrooms and beaver mascot.
As of July 2024, there are 50 active Buc-ee's locations around the United States, with the most being found in Texas.
An official opening date for the Huber Heights location has not been announced.
