2 juveniles, adult injured after vehicle crashes into Bob Evans restaurant in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two juveniles and an adult were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed through the front of a Bob Evans restaurant in southeast Columbus Sunday morning.

The crash happened just before 11:50 a.m. at the Bob Evans, located at 4019 Hamilton Square Boulevard, near U.S. Route 33 and South Hamilton Road.

According to Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeffrey Geitter, three people were injured in the incident, including the driver. Both juveniles were taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the driver was taken to Mount Carmel East. Geitter said all three are expected to be OK.

The two juveniles were sitting inside when the crash happened. An officer with the Columbus Division of Police says the table was pushed into them. 

No additional information was provided. It's unclear whether the driver will be charged.

The car was removed from the front of the building just after 12:30 p.m.
