COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Board of Trustees approved a raise for the university’s president Michael Drake on Friday.
Drake will receive a merit increase $16,646, or two percent of his base pay, and a bonus of $208,080 which is 25-percent of his base salary.
The trustees praised Drake’s progress and the goals he achieved over the past year.
Trustee Janet Reid said, “It has been a terrific year for this institution under terrific leadership.”
Those goals included growing the new Teaching and Research Institute, focusing on cost savings and efficiency, and supporting the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s leadership.
