COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person died after a shooting in northeast Columbus Thursday evening, police said.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called on a report of a shooting in the 4100 block of Blendon Grove Way, located near Blendon Woods Metro Park, shortly after 9:30 p.m.
Police say one person was transported to Mount Carmel East in critical condition. They were later pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.
There is no suspect information. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown at this time.
