A student made a verbal threat Thursday morning prompting a lockdown at Big Walnut High School, according to district officials.
The Big Walnut Local Schools superintendent says the school is following their safety plan protocols and that the district and law enforcement is evaluating the threat.
The high school was placed on precautionary lockdown while they investigate and talk to students.
School officials did not provide details of the alleged threat made by the student.
