INDIANAPOLIS — The Big Ten Championship Game will be airing on CBS this year.
The network announced that in addition to the conference finale, it will also be airing two marquee matchups.
On Sept. 14 at 3:30 p.m., the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be traveling south to take on the Purdue Boilermakers.
This is the first time since 2013 that the two teams have faced each other, renewing a rivalry that featured an annual in-state meeting from 1946 to 2014.
A week later at the same time, the USC Trojans will fly out to Ann Arbor to take on the Michigan Wolverines. This game will mark USC's inaugural Big Ten road game as a new member of the conference.
The Big Ten Championship matchup will air at 8 p.m. on Dec. 7.
