COLUMBUS, Ohio – Big Lots has announced a new store structure has eliminated more than 400 jobs.
According to a spokesperson, the restructuring was done at the beginning of this week to improve customer service.
In some instances, the restructuring resulted in promotion or changes in a specific role or location but also eliminated jobs.
The Columbus-based company has over 1,400 stores with 35,000 employees nationwide.
The spokesperson said the changes impact about of their stores.
