COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new Italian restaurant will soon open its doors in Easton.
Bar Italia will open to the public in 2025 and will be located across from the newly opened Cameron Mitchell restaurant, Del Mar Columbus.
The grand opening was announced Monday by restaurant group NCR Ventures.
“We want this restaurant to feel like an authentic, beautiful Italian restaurant on par with a Cipriani-like venue in New York, London or Paris. We plan to use all authentic materials; Italian marble, beautiful walnut woods, modern Italian furniture and special artwork from Massimo Listri, a famous Florence photographer and artist,” said Rick Doody, CEO and founder at NCR Ventures.
The restaurant’s menu will feature both classic and contemporary Italian dishes with handcrafted pastas.
This is not the restaurant’s first location. Bar Italia can be found in Lakewood and Beachwood, Ohio and in Winter Park and Sarasota, Florida.
The restaurant concept was developed by restauranteur Rick Doody with design help from his wife, Wendy Berry-Doody.
