The Andersons announced that it's closing its remaining four retail stores, including two in Columbus.
The company says it plans to close the locations later this year.
The Columbus locations are at 7000 Bent Tree Blvd. in northwest Columbus, and 5800 Alshire Rd. in southeast Columbus.
The company posted this announcement Sunday on Facebook:
The closures will eliminate about 650 jobs in the Toledo area, and 400 jobs in Columbus. Seventy-five percent of those are part-time positions, according to The Andersons.
The company says the retail closings will have no impact on its grain, ethanol, plant nutrient and rail operations.
