MARION, Ohio — The Marion Police said a woman and a 15-year-old boy were injured in a shooting that happened early Friday morning.
It happened just after 4:30 a.m. on July 17 in the 300 block of Avondale Avenue.
Police say when officers arrived, they found both victims shot.
Officers at the scene told 10TV the boy was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday, police said he was still at the hospital with serious injuries.
The woman was taken to Marion General Hospital and her injuries are not considered life-threatening. She has since been released.
Authorities did not say what the relationship is between the two victims.
Police said three 19-year-old men have been arrested in connection to the shooting.
Andrew Cramer and Zachary Harter were arrested earlier this month and were each charged with aggravated riot.
Miguel Gonzales turned himself in on July 26 and is charged with felonious assault and aggravated riot.
On July 27, police said the boy injured in the shooting is still in the hospital.
