PERRY COUNTY, Ohio — An 82-year-old woman was struck and killed by a motorcycle in Perry County on Monday, according to the Oho State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. on state Route 93 near milepost 21 in Harrison Township.
A 2008 Suzuki motorcycle was heading south on state Route 93 when it struck 82-year-old Ella Ebert, of Crooksville.
Ebert was taken to Grant Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The motorcyclist was taken to Genesis in Zanesville for minor injuries.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office, the Roseville and Crooksville fire departments, Medflight and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted with the crash investigation.
