Police: 2 injured in northeast Columbus shooting

No information was released on a possible suspect. It's unclear what led up to the shooting.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people were injured in a shooting on the city's northeast side Saturday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to the 800 block of East 4th Avenue in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood around 5:50 p.m. on a report of a shooting. 

One victim went to Grant Medical Center in serious condition, police say. The other person went to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in what was described as "stable" condition. Both are expected to survive their injuries.

No information was released on a possible suspect. It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
