PERRY COUNTY, Ohio — A 68-year-old man was killed in a crash in Perry County late Wednesday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Rush Creek Road near state Route 13 in Reading Township.
OSHP says a 68-year-old man was driving a 2013 Lincon Continental east on Rush Creek Road when he did not negotiate a curve. The man traveled off the right side of the road, struck a guard rail, traveled down an embankment and overturned his vehicle.
The man was transported to Genesis hospital in Somerset where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office, the Reading Township Fire Department and Medflight assisted with the crash.
