COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police’s Homicide Unit is investigating after a man was found fatally shot inside a vehicle on the city’s south side Saturday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 3000 block of Midway Avenue on a report of a suspicious vehicle. After officers found the vehicle, they discovered a victim, a 40-year-old man, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the man dead at 7:55 a.m.
