LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — Four people were arrested and charged following a shooting in Licking County that left a man dead on Monday.
Licking County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 3000 block of Albright Road in Hanover Township around 3:15 a.m. on a reported shooting. When deputies arrived, they found 48-year-old Dale Matson, of Newark, dead.
While investigating, detectives determined that the shooting was not a random act of violence. Numerous suspects were identified throughout the investigation.
The sheriff's office identified the suspects as 46-year-old Jason Castle, 44-year-old Travis Schwarz, 39-year-old Brandy Sunkle and 36-year-old Sasha Martin. All four suspects were arrested and charged with aggravated murder.
