COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 2-year-old child was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in east Columbus on Tuesday.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the child was struck on Dewbourne Drive near Gender Road just before 3 p.m.
The child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, police say. No charges have been filed as of Tuesday evening.
