LICKING COUNTY – The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two men who attended the Lost Lands Music Festival in Spetember.

Sheriff Randy Thorp said medical personnel on site responded to two reports of unresponsive people.

Ger Vang, 24, of Hickory, North Carolina died on Saturday around 3:20 a.m. Mario Symborski, 31, of Pontiac, Michigan, died on Sunday around 12:05 a.m. Both were pronounced dead at Licking Memorial Hospital.

The Licking County coroner announced the cause of death Monday for both men as acute drug overdoses.

Thorp said autopsies have been performed by the Licking County Coroner’s Office but the cause of death is pending toxicology reports.

Those reports could take several weeks to complete.
